Tecnoresin invests in continuing education: it continues to collaborate with EiMTech
Always in Tecnoresin we invest in continuous training to keep up with the innovation and research themes related to the world of plastic molding. This is why it has prompted us to join immediately and enthusiastically with the EiMTech project of the Polytechnic University of Marche and ARBURG to form a center for the study, development and optimization of the injection molding application for the Center Italy.
During the last two training seminars in September, the subjects of the quality control area and the process simulation area were discussed, very narrow themes and particularly close to our production world.
In the quality control area, in particular, the principles of operation of co-ordinate control machines, microscopes and 3D stereoscopes in small and very small size applications, which are indispensable for contactless measurement, have been examined. Some practical applications with data capture and management have been illustrated.
It was possible to deepen the fundamental characteristics of a measuring instrument: resolution, accuracy, measuring range and sensitivity. Particular attention has been given to the problem of repeatability of the measurements, in which the correct positioning of the piece is a fundamental requirement.
In the second seminar, attention was paid to the importance of simulation in the process of developing a new product and to the benefits of reducing die molding times by using FEM and CAE systems, which must necessarily be used in the design and engineering of the product. During the seminar, it was possible to make an analysis on a particular subject to evaluate criticality, filling cavities and deformations.
Compared to the traditional model, this simulation in the product development phase allows you to evaluate advance detailing of 3D details or any mold design settings without necessarily waiting for the prototyping phase.
Regular participation in EiMTech training activities allows us to increase the skills of our collaborators and to aim at an ever-increasing customer service level.
