CERTIFIED TORLON PAI PROCESS
After a long study, research and laboratory tests we obtained the homologation from Solvay speciality polymers as printers of a ultrapolimero with highly performing characteristics, the Torlon ® PAI (Polyamide-imide), material that It combines the outstanding performance of thermosetting materials with the advantage of melting-processing of thermoplastics.
Torlon ® Technopolymer offers an exclusive combination of:
- performance from cryogenic conditions at 260 °c;
- Excellent mechanical strength;
- Good characteristics of self-extinguishing and low smoke development;
- High resistance to fatigue, impact, creep, wear;
- Low coefficients of dilation and excellent thermal stability;
- Resistance to chemical agents and fluids of aircraft and motor vehicles. For this reason, "Torlon " is used particularly in the aviation, military and automotive sectors.
For our company it is a recognition of great importance: we are among the few in Italy to have a process certified by the manufacturer that can guarantee the possibility to use and transform where required this polymer from the characteristics Exceptional.
